About Saša
Saša is a leading public procurement law expert. He has significant experience in the areas of public procurement, public-private partnerships and concessions and offers clients unparalleled expertise and insight. Saša is recognised for his commitment and knowledge in this very specific area of law.
Saša’s career has spanned across numerous institutions active in public procurement, and he has held several high-level positions in the area including President of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement, which enforces rights in the areas of public procurement, public-private partnerships and concessions. He also worked
with the Public Procurement Office as an independent adviser. Saša was a member of Serbia’s EU accession negotiating team on Chapter 5, which includes public procurement, public-private partnerships and concessions, acting as a rapporteur on the protection of rights and was involved in drafting the Negotiating Position.
Saša is the author of numerous books and publications on the topic of public procurement. He also authored comments on the 2008 and 2012 Public Procurement Law, Comment on current Law on Public-Private Partnerships and Concessions and Comment on new Public Procurement Law from 2019. He is a regular lecturer on public procurement and frequently participates in trainings and seminars on the topic, accredited by the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA).
